Developing and nurturing a mindful approach to life, be that in a work place or a personal context, is about experience and awareness, which comes about as a result of doing things, or practice.
Meditation is an area often associated, though not always, with becoming more mindful.
This can take the form of formal practice, set practice. This is about setting time aside to ‘work’ with the mind and attention. Maybe think of it as taking the mind to the gym, or doing scales and technique practice in music. A range of meditation are used, and like different exercises in the gym, aim to develop different aspect
These are very quick meditations, again to work with the mind and attention, but this time to ‘tune-in’ very quickly in just a few second or minutes. These are used throughout the normal day as a way to gather yourself.
